OSHA regulations set forth five dimensions of Industrial Hearing Conservation. Hearing Testing Inc. will perform a number of activities related to each dimension of hearing conservation. Specifically:
Noise Survey Noise levels can be monitored on-site and a detailed report of findings provided.
Ear Protection Protective devices for specific noise environments can be supplied.
Annual Hearing Testing In Plant or Mobile Hearing Testing.
Training of Employees Training films 4 to 12 minutes long are presented immediately prior to testing or at the discretion of the employer. The films acquaint employees with the importance of hearing conservation and with procedures that should be followed.
Data Management Results of hearing tests are reported through a computer program which lists all employees and their hearing levels. The program also traces shifts in hearing levels of individual employees and prints the necessary notification forms.
